Laboratory Services

Southern Equine Service has its own diagnostic laboratory offering CBC (complete blood counts) and chemistry profiles. Having the ability to run our own blood work gives immediate results for our patients and allows us to quickly come up with a proper treatment plan. We also harvest IRAP and have a Magellan PRP machine to process PRP from either blood or bone marrow. Our in house laboratory runs fecal exams to check for parasites. We send out our drug screens, allergy testing, EPM testing and other tests you may request. We also send out our bacterial cultures for identification and sensitivities.
